The Solar Thermal Training System is designed as a small-scale model of a real-time water heating system, ideal for conducting heat transfer analyses and characterizations. It includes a main collector system with temperature, flow, and pressure sensors for fluid measurements. The system’s measuring unit displays various parameters, while an artificial light unit using a Halogen lamp panel uniformly illuminates the flat plate collector in a lab environment. This setup allows experiments to proceed independently of external weather conditions. Its modular and scalable design facilitates easy movement in and out of the lab, accommodating experiments with both artificial light and natural sunlight. Users can effectively study the operation of a flat plate collector water heating system and explore its different operational modes.
