PCT-0033 PROCESS CONTROL TRAINER

The PCT-0033 is a fully integrated apparatus comprising a Process Module and a Control Console with an integrated power supply. It includes a software for complete control and data acquisition. The unit supports a variety of process control experiments covering Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature. Data is displayed on a display on the process module, and the software enables monitoring, saving, and printing of data. It includes a PID controller, and SCADA capabilities, and trending features for thorough process analysis. The Control Console connects to a PC via USB or to a PLC. It features a process diagram on its front panel, fault switches, and test points for all transducers. It also includes a level sensor, pressure sensor, and a flow sensor. Temperature in both the sump and process tank is monitored using PT1000 sensors. A diverter valve redirects liquid for forced air-cooling processes to cool the system’s liquid. Two proportional valves regulate flow into and out of the process tank, while a manually adjustable needle valve introduces disturbances. Additionally, a pressure relief valve enhances system safety.
